About Bryonna
Hi, my name is Bryonna.
I graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology, with a concentration in Youth Studies. I’m an innovative and collaborative Community Engagement + Event Coordinator, Educator, and Experiential Designer with 5+ years of experience in nonprofit settings, designing and delivering multidisciplinary, community-centered programs, volunteer initiatives, and events that tell meaningful stories, build connections, foster advocacy, and promote accessibility and cultural impact at companies like the YMCA, Saginaw Arts Museum, and Kokua Education.
After graduating in 2019, I was inspired by the lack of programs, resources, and learning initiatives in my city, and made it my mission to cultivate supportive environments that encourage socio-emotional development, human-centered experiences, and drive impactful community-based projects and initiatives that support youth development.
I began graduate school in 2023 at DePaul University, pursuing a Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction + Experience Design. Bridging physical + digital worlds, connecting to our human senses + technology, and centering community voices to create hands-on, empathetic, and connective experiences + environments.
Now I have expanded my skills, experiences, and love for developing programs, events, activations, etc., to various spaces from non-profit organizations to million-dollar corporations. I know that my expertise translates across spaces, demographics, and time!
Thank you! xoxo
My mission is to foster a love of telling meaningful stories, building connections, and creating cultural impact.
